So… How did Rusty Crowe’s happen??

Honestly, we are still figuring that part out!

We are Jordan and Kaylin (soon-to-be) Crowe, two 30-something year olds (who’s counting?) from Northwest Wisconsin, with a blended family of three equally chaotic kids, a love for creating things, and apparently a habit of turning “I wonder if we could make that” into an actual project.

Jordan’s love for working with metal began in high school (just a couple years ago… again who’s counting.) What began as an interest over the years has turned into a passion for forging, creating, and figuring out just how much you can do with a piece of hot steel and a little determination.

We were both raised by parents who showed us what hard work really looks like. You work for what you have. You take pride in what you do. You learn from your mistakes, keep going when things get frustrating and don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty. In our work we have that last part covered!

Our passion for our work and the mindset we have learned from our parents is a huge part of what we are all about at Rusty Crowe’s Forge.

We are constantly learning, experimenting, and looking for ways to improve our skills and our work. We will never claim to know it all and honestly that is part of the fun. There is always another technique to learn, another idea to try, another piece of metal just waiting to become something cool.

Our goal, with your help, is to grow Rusty Crowe’s into something fun, unique, and amazing-something that reflects who we are and gives us the opportunity to keep creating things we are proud of and teach our kids the same things our parents taught us!

We are excited to see where this takes us, and even more excited that you are here to come along for this wild ride! We promise there will never be a dull moment.
